1.It’s a game! Job, family, personnel matters, and life come first. Please just let us know if you won’t be able to make it or will be late to any planed event. If you won’t be around for a while because of one or more of these things please just let us know, just indicate the reason for a prolong absents is of a personal nature.
2. ICK members should always show good sportsmanship, treating the people that you play with and against as you would like to be treated yourself. While wearing the ICK tags you not only represent yourself but you also represent the rest of the team. No derogatory remarks better known as smack, taunting, trash-talking, gloating, cheap shots, or accusations of cheating should be made on Ventrilo, typed in during a game, or on any forums. This also means letting go of any insults that may come your way through one or more of these sources.
3. No foul language! Not on Ventrilo, typed in during a game, or on any forums. We understand it has, and it will slip every once in a while on Ventrilo in the heat of the moment but it will not be tolerated as on going day to day basics on Ventrilo, and not at all in the game or on any forums.
4. Cheating by a member of ICK. ICK does not endorse and will not tolerate any cheaters on the squad. If you think someone on ICK is cheating, it is your duty to report them to the CO or XO, preferably offline from the rest of the squad “use MSN or ask to be moved to a private channel on Ventrilo”. Please do not use the forums or any other public medium, as this is an internal matter. The CO and XO will then determine what steps will need to be taken to resolve the problem. This may require you to produce some evidence probably in the form of answers to questions. If you see a Member of ICK that you believe is cheating make note of the map name, server name, time of day, and the date of the occurrence plus the names of any other players that may confirm the incidence. You will also be asked to give a brief description of the cheat. This is a serious matter and may take time to resolve, we want to make sure we are right before confronting one of our own members with a serious accusation of this nature.
5. Cheating by a member of another squad. If you believe someone on another squad is cheating please use the same method described for reporting a member of ICK cheating. Please do not use the forums on our server, on the other squad’s server, or any other public medium. If another squad was reporting a member of ICK cheating, we would rather have them contact the CO or XO directly and resolve the problem privately. Do not confront the individual in question directly in the game or in any forums as this will probably get you no where. We want to make sure we are right before making a serious accusation of this nature to another squad. |
